The only English-Speaking Orchestra and 'Ex-Pat' Choir in Munich is ready for the big stage: the Carl-Orff-Saal, Gasteig, Saturday, July 17th at 20:00. Munich's TT Orchestra & Singers present "Collection for the Common Man".
With music from Beethoven to Copland, Gershwin to Queen, the concert is one that will appeal to a wide range of people, but celebrates the fun that we have in playing and singing.
Tickets, available from www.muenchen-ticket, start at only 8 Euros.
The TT Orchestra, a youthful 18 months old and the TT Singers (even younger!) are drawn primarily from the large Ex-Pat community living and working in Munich. However, our infectious enthusiasm and welcoming attitude has encouraged locals to join in the fun and has proven to be an exciting mix of talents and interests.
For their debut at the Carl-Orff-Saal, the TT Singers are joined by members of the Munich Ladies Choir.
Included in the programme will be Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man, 1st Movement Beethoven's 5th Symphony, Howard Shore's Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings Suite and two Rhapsodies: Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue and Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, plus a couple of surprises!
